BetterLetter

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new product: BetterLetter!

BetterLetter helps practices complete letter processing faster and with higher accuracy by highlighting significant events, recommending next actions, and suggesting relevant SNOMED codes.

Administrative work is often ignored as the non-glamourous side of patient care but is a real problem as highlighted by Panorama earlier in the year.

In our conversations with Practice Managers and GP's, a tool to process letters in real time and to help clear their backlog is something that had repeatedly come up. We decided to make this idea a reality, and brought BetterLetter into existence.

The process is simple - practices upload their letters via a secure portal, and receive back an annotated PDF pack, containing relevant information marked up in the letter, with next actions and coding recommendations.

Best Practice Show

The Best Practice Show was undoubtedly the highlight of our year so far. We had some great discussions and really loved engaging with so many folks passionate about primary care.

Our Growth Lead, Ketan, demonstrating our product suite.

Many thanks to Ian and his team at BPS for delivering a fantastic event again this year. We look forward to seeing you all at Best Practice London next spring!

Codepilot

The level of Codepilot engagement over the last year has been incredible; from release at BPS last year to now covering 500,000+ patient lives. This is a real difference practices are making to people’s lives - placing patients are on correct registers and ensuring no one slips through the cracks for long term condition management. We couldn’t be prouder!

Priority Recall Guides

Priority Recall Guides (PRG) helps to prioritise patients for recall by clinical risk.

The most common method of recalling patients for long term condition management is by month of birth. There is clearly an opportunity to do better by prioritising those patients who most urgently need attention to the top of the list. Some practices had previously tried to recall by clinical risk but found themselves limited by the clunkiness of EMIS/SystmOne. They were thankful for a ready to go and FREE solution, leaving them to focus on what they did best - providing high quality clinical care.

This project was the brainchild of Jo, our Head of Primary Care Operations. Jo and the rest of the clinical team deserve full credit for all the positive feedback we received and practices we’ve helped.

Closing thoughts

BetterLetter is really going to be a game changer for back office administration and we’re really looking forward to working with all the practices who expressed interest in the product. If this seems like something that could help your practice,  please don't hesitate to contact us.
